The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has a requirement for four (4) audio distribution units (ADU) with two (2) options for one (1) additional unit each. The units will likely be used in pairs and shall provide manual patch capabilities between ADU inputs from receivers, recorders, a time code unit, and trunk lines; to recorders, trunk lines, and operator interface controls. The units shall provide operator selection of any of the receiver, trunk line, or patched units. The operator selected input shall be routed to the desired speaker amplifier or headset output. A two wire half-duplex intercom system (ICS) shall provide audio communications with another position. The back panel of the ADU shall have 28 audio inputs, 14 outputs, and 16 input/output jacks. The front panel shall have two microphone inputs; two headphone outputs; headphone, speaker source selection and volume controls, intercom and dub level controls; and a patch panel with six jack fields of ten jacks each.
