ATTN: This procurement is to be made in accordance with DFARS Subpart 235.70, Research and Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures. Offerors are advised that a conventional solicitation will NOT be issued, but that the solicitation will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). The Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) is seeking to issue a cost plus fixed fee contract to provide diagnostic and fielding support services for the Enhanced Payloads Program. It will require the acquisition and fielding of appropriate diagnostic techniques at planned large-scale test activities to be conducted at hardened underground and tunnel facilities. It will also include experiment planning, data analyses, and coordination activities. This effort will validate new warhead concepts in support of the overall counterproliferation program efforts of DNA. The period of performance is forty-five (45) months. All contractor personnel will require a DoD security clearance of SECRET.
