(CECOM), Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD),
Countermine Systems Division will be conducting an Advanced Technology
Demonstration (ATD) during mid-1995. The ATD will be conducted at
Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona.
Commercially available systems are invited to be participants in this
ATD. These systems must be capable of detecting non-metallic mines
ranging in diameter from 2 to 15 inches. Non-metallic mines are defined
as those mines which have no metal content. Mines will be buried from
flush with the soil surface to a depth of 6 inches to the top of the
mine in a variety of natural soils. Those interested in participating
