Health Service has a requirement to provide assessment, diagnostic
services and recommendations for therapeutic services and related
training activities for American Indian children with special needs
residing in or attending school in New Mexico, Southern Colorado, on
the Navajo Indian Reservation and on the Hopi Reservation. These
services comprise the Indian Children's Program (ICP). When possible,
the ICP also provides treatment services, assists with identification
of treatment services, and/or trains parents and local resources to
provide treatment. A multidisciplinary Clinical Team or Teams of
education and health professionals shall be constituted by the
Contractor. Clients shall be seen on referral from education and health
agencies following appropriate screening by the agencies. The ICP
Clinical Team shall periodically travel to selected communities to hold
multidisciplinary clinics. The specific communities sites and schedule
of visits will be developed in conjunction with the Bureau of Indian
