The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a Basic Ordering
Agreement (BOA) with Bath Iron Works Corporation (BIW), 700 Washington
Street, Bath, ME 04530 for the Post-Shakedown Availabilities (PSA) for
the DDG 51 AEGIS Destroyer Class Program. Cost-Plus-Award Fee (CPAF)
orders will be negotiated on a sole source basis with BIW for the DDG's
56, 58, 60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70 and 72 PSA engineering and management
support. The orders to be issued will encompass advance planning and
engineering support, and accomplishment of emergent availabilities
which include Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRA's), Restricted
Availabilities (RAV's), drydocking availabilities and technical
availabilities. Individual orders placed under the BOA shall be
synopsized, when required, in accordance with applicable requirements.
