Remove and replace VAT in the kitchen and Classroom #1 with quarry tile and commercial grade floor tile, respectively. There are about 1,400 sq. ft. of VAT to be removed. Remove and replace the 4,000 sq. ft. of non-asbestos hung ceiling and lighting system in the Hallway (dispose all material as asbestos contaminated waste.) Remove and replace asbestos piping insulation with non-asbestos thermal insulation. Provide air monitoring in accordance with NJAC Sub-Chapter 8 and AHERA. The work shall be performed at the Ft. Dix Elementary School, JuliustownRoad, Ft. Dix, New Jersey. Work to be completed 8 weeks afterissuance of notice to proceed. Miami, Fl. The estimated opening date of IFB is May 31, 1995. The dates as stated are estimated and will be finalized in IFB. The estimated construction cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business. Small Disadvantaged Business concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested for SIC 1542 General Contractors as well as SDB concerns. The SIC Code is 1542 and the Small Business Size Standard is a concern, including its affiliates, having an average amount of sales or receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not in the excess of $17,000,000. Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. All interested parties should request plans and specifications in writing. No telephone/fax requests will be honored.
