The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) has a requirement for one (1) air conditioner package. This air conditioner package shall be a 100 ton unit which consists of an electronic step-controller condenser 124 GPM, evaporator tube bundles, all electrical, safeties, and four (4) each compressors. Minimum salient characteristics are a maximum height of 6' 8 3/4'', maximum width of 2' 11 7/8'', maximum length of 9' 4'', minimum flow rate cooler of 135 GPM, minimum volume of 290 gallons, voltage of 460, 3 pH, 60 Hz, control circuit transformer for 115 V, condenser manifold package consists of two (2) cooling loops, and both cooler and condenser shall have a 5'' ASA flat face flange. These dimensions must be strictly adhered to as this air conditioner must be able to fit through a wall opening (97'' x 48 1/2'') in Building 1450.
