Colbert, (502)798-7566 This is a twelve month requirements contract for ready-mix concrete conforming to ASTM C 94 (1992), Ready-Mixed Concrete. Strength shall be 3500 pounds when designed in accordance with American Concrete Institute (ACI) 301. Slump shall not exceed three (3) inches at point of delivery at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Over the twelve month period of performance, the contractor shall be required to provide the following estimated quantities of ready-mix concrete to locations at Fort Campbell, Kentucky: A total of 400 cubic yards (4-40 cubic yards per delivery order) to a destination within five (5) miles of Gate 4; a total of 25 cubic yards to a destination within five (5) miles of Gate 4 (for fence posts); a total of 25 cubic yards (1-3 cubic yards per delivery order); addition of 1% calcium chloride to an estimated quantity of 10 cubic yards; addition of 2% calcium chloride to an estimated quantity of 10 cubic yards; and, Saturday delivery (additional charge for contract line item numbers 0001 through 0003). Anticipated base period of performance is from 1 November 1995 through 31 October 1996. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note 1.
