tel: (410) 965-9520 CNT NONE The Social Security Administration is
seeking sources within a 50 mile radius of SSA capable of providing
ongoing destruction services for Social Security cards. Destruction
requirements will vary from a minimum of 24,000 pounds to a maximum of
62,500 pounds per year. Incineration, disintegration or shredding not

entrances/exits or other openings. In addition, if same day destruction
cannot be accomplished, the facility must have a secure area within the

detectors or other sensing devices. Both exterior and interior alarm
systems must be connected to a central monitoring station for prompt
response by police. The facility must be prepared to submit to a
government security inspection, to submit the organization's security
control plan for review by the government, to undergo an employee
suitability determination conducted under the procedures of the SSA
suitability determination program, and to provide a certificate of
destruction. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. It is
anticipated that this will be a small purchase. This is not a Request
For Proposal and the government does not intend to pay for the
information solicited or received. Respondents will not be notified of
the results of the evaluation of the source data received, but sources
deemed qualified will be solicited when requests for quotations are
