On behalf of USAID/Zimbabwe, REDSO/ESA/PROC is soliciting cost and technical proposals for supply of three heavy duty, 4-wheel drive, specialized vehicles equal to Hummer VLC2. These will also include optional equipment such as central tire inflation, trailer towing unit, driveline protection, heavy duty rear bumper, sliding rear window, brushguard, two-piece wheels with beadlock, rocker panel protextion, swing-away spare tire carrier, 12,000 pounds winch, green military color and various basic spare parts for routine maintenanxe. Service and spare parts for proposed vehicles must be available in the Southern Africa region. In addition, offer must include certification from manufacturer's authorized dealer or representative in South Africa who will provide warranty and after sales service.
