The United States Air Force has the intent to award a contract for a receiving and storage aid system for McChord AFB, WA. The requirement consist of design, fabrication, installation, orientation and testing of the following components: Shelving Supported Mezzanine, Free Standing Mezzanine and Cantilever Rack. The solicitation will be issued approximately 1 May 1995. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use estabished channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposed development phase of this acquisition.
