Supply and deliver to the USDA Research Facility in Bushland, Texas, an Automated Ion Analyzer to study the assorted chemical constituents of soil, water, fertilizer, and plant materials to further research pertinent to soil management in agriculture. The current need is for a single channel instrument with interchangeable analytical modules. The instrument must be capable of analyzing for nitrate nitrogen (10 ppb to 25 ppm), ammonia (10 ppm to 25 ppm), total Kjeldahl nitrogen (0.05 ppm to 200 ppm), organic phosphorus (10 ppb to 25 ppm), total phosphorus (10 ppb to 25 ppm), and total organic carbon (1 ppm to 50 ppm) in a variety of matrices. The sytem must be versatile enough to analyze for a variety of other chemical constituents by purchasing additional analytical cartridges as needed.
