Carrying Cases for Electronic Equipment, 240 each, cases. General case
specifications as follows: All cases shall be of all aluminum deep
drawn construction. All cases shall have automatic pressure
equalization valves. Continuous mating gasketed openings capable of
pressure sel in order to prevent moisture intrusion in all types of
environments. Finish interior and exterior except handle grips, valve
and label, wash prime per DOD-P-15328, epoxy primer per MIL-P-23377,
Type 1, Class 1, paint aliphatic polyurethane camouflage coating per
MIL-C-46168 ``CARC'' color No. 383 (Exterior Only). Each case in final
configuration must provide a maximum carrying weight not-to-exceed a
two man lift of 84 lbs including the equipment per case. Zero
Manufacturing Part Number 21-102034, or equal, 80 each, detailed
specifications as follows: Cas requires an internal shock mounted rack
capable of protecting a 65 lb piece of electronic equipment which will
withstand up to a 15g drop. The internal shock mounted rack installed
within this case shall accept standard 19'' rack mount equipment. The
rack will be attached to the case with shock mounts at all eight
corners. Case dimensions are as follows: outside 16.5'' high X 23.75''
wide X 23'' deep -0'' +2.'' Carrying handles will be installed on
opposite sides of the 23'' dimension. This case shall have front and
back removable covers to provide access to the front panel and rear
connector panels of the enclosed equipment. Covers shall be 4.5'' deep
to provide clearance for internal equipment. Zero Manufacturing Part
Number 21-102035, or equal, 80 each, detailed specifications as
follows: Case requires internal shock mounted rack capable of
protecting a 20 lb piece of electronic equipment which will withstand
up to a 15g drop. Internal shock mounted rack installed within this
case shall accept standard 19'' rack mount equipment. The rack will be
attached to the case with shock mounts at all eight corners. Case
dimensions are as follows: 18.25'' high X 23.75'' wide X 19'' deep -0''
+2.'' Carrying handles will be installed on opposite sides of the 19''
dimension. This case shall have front and back removable covers to
provide access to the front panel and rear connector panels of the
enclosed equipment. Rear cover will have a hinged inner lid to provide
a 3'' deep cable storage compartment. This lid shall be secured with
push button latches. Part Number 21-102035, or equal, and Part Number
21-1022034, or equal, shall stack one upon the other with Part Number
21-102035, or equal, on top of Part Number 21-102034, or equal, on the
bottom, which provides for both to be locked together for use as a
test stand with covers removed to allow the operator to connect and
operate equipment at each deployment site. Cases shall be unlatched and
sepaated and covers replace for shipment with equipment for
redeployment. Zero Manufacturing Part Number 21-102036, or equal, 80
each, detailed specifications as follows: This case shll serve as a
transport case. Case dimensions are as follows: outside 15'' high X
28.25'' wide X 28.25'' deep -O + 1.'' Carrying handles will be
installed on opposite sides of the 28.25'' dimension. This case shall
have a removable 3'' deep lid. The lid shall have 3'' high density
polurethane foam. The bottom portion of this container shall be filled
with high density diced foam approximately 1'' to allow for a custom
fit of the support equipment to be transported in this container.
Delivery Schedule for these items shall be as follows: 5 sets of these
containers/enclosures 12 weeks ARO, thereafter 5 sets per week until
completion. A set consists the following: 1 each Part Number
21-1022034, or equal, 1 each Part Number 21-1022035, or equal and 1
each Part Number 21-102036, or equal. Each proposal shall contain an
engineering drawing package which at the time of acceptance shall
become the property of the U.S. Government. This is an ``all or none''
requirment. Descriptions, quantities, locations are based on the best
available data at the time. Actual solicitation requirements may
differ. The specific agency delegation number for this acquisition is
KMA 93-AD15. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition.
The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious
concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use
established chnnels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal
development phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use
established channels to request information, pose questions and voice
concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman. Potential offerors
