NASA Lewis Research Center is contemplating the acquisition of a software program that will provide state-of-the-art (GUI, Client/Server based) CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) class tools to enhance productivity in the areas of information retrieval, data conversion, and data propagation. The software will be a data management tool designed to streamline the process of accessing, analyzing, and migrating data from one computer platform to another. The software shall access data from mainframe file structures or data base management systems (DBMS), extract it, evaluate it, reformat it, and move it to another DBMS or file structure. The software must access ADABASE as a source DBMS. The contract term is anticipated to be one year, with four one-year options for continued software maintenance. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135.
