70 -- ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING SYSTEM SOL 8148 DUE 053095 POC Karen Phillips (703)648-7372 (contact), Annamaria Ashworth (703)648-7371 (CO) The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Information Systems Division has a requirement for an integrated environmental monitoring system to provide automatic alarm notification for all environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power, UPS, fire smoke, and liquid) affecting its computer center. The system will consist of hardware and software (pre-coded and tailored to the USGS environment) to connect existing environmentals and for a remote console product to output the alarm to CA-Opera/PC and CA Opera which is the existing Amdahl console management product. Installation and associated documentation and on-site training will also be required. The system must portray the captured environmental data in both graphical and report formats. The delivery time is 90 days. Delivery will be to Reston, Virginia. Specifications will be available with Solicitation No. 8148. Solicitation 8148 will be issued on or about April 25, 1995.
