U -- DEVELOP/REVISE AND CONDUCT THE MULTIPROTECTION DESIGN SUMMER INSTITUTE Sol EME-95-R-0490. Due 052695. The contractor shall be responsible for (1) the development and revisin of all the training materials; (2) the development of an instructor kit for each course module; and (3) delivery of the MBDSI courses for EMI. MBDSI courses consist of four, one week courses in natural hazard protective design research/application for engineering and architectural faculty. The contractor will be responsible for the selection of lead instructors and assistants with specialized expertise in the areas of wind, fire, earthquakes and floods to provide instruction and revision/updates to MBDSI course materials. The period of performance is a base year period, with four (4) option years. The Government anticipates a fixed price contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 4/30/95 and proposals due on or about 5/30/95. Only written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (097)
