Y -- GOVERNMENT QUARTERS IMPROVEMENT AND REPAIR SOL N00-95-31 DUE 051195 POC Contact Edison Leslie, Contracting Officer, (505) 863-8228 The proposed work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision and performance of work to remove one single hung aluminum frame window in each bedroom, modify structural framing and install one new dual glazed horizontal sliding rescue window and horizontal louver blinds. Window installation shall comply with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code for emergency egress requirements. Repair and paint exterior and interior finishes at window installation areas to match existing finishes. Remove existing flashings, pipe vent flashing, rain deflectors and roofing down to deck and dispose of all debris at an EPA approved waste disposal site off the Navajo Reservation. Renail all loose decking and fascia board assembly. Prepare and paint fascia board assembly around perimeter of buildings. Upon approval from the Project Inspector, replace all rotted decking and fascia board (if any). Apply 15 pound asphalt felt underlayment, install metal edge strip, all associated flashings, chimney termination units, new 25-year warranty roof shingles and gutter and downspout system on single family quarters with attached garage. Work shall be accomplished in Government furnished quarters at these Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Navajo Agency sites: Kaibeto Boarding School, Shonto Boarding School and Tuba City Boarding School, Arizona.
