Contract work consists of general, mechanical, plumbing and electrical demolition and renovation to approximately 60,000 SF on Building 5656 at Fort Dix, Wrightstown, New Jersey. Options will be specified for similar demolition and renovation to an additional 35,000 SF of the building, construction of an exterior concrete loading ramp, construction of an exterior concrete equipment pad and enchanced renvoations throughout the building. While no asbestos abatement has been identified within the limits of work, asbestos is present in the building and removal may be required. Demolition for one of the options involves removal and disposal of lead lined stud walls. Stringent construction phasing will be required as the bulding will be occupied during construction. Issue date for the plans and specifications is on or about 25 April 1995 with a bid opening date on or about 24 May 1995 at 11:00 a.m. Specifications with half-size drawings are available at a charge of $25.00 per set.
