rehabilitation of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal Pump House Museum.
The mortar and stone structure is over 160 years old and was
designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965. Renovations include:
pointing of the 10,000 s.f. structure and two chimneys, roof, flashing,
gutter and downspout replacement; historical brick replacement; wood
lintel replacement and wood covering over steel lintels; handicap
accessibility for both the interior and exterior structure; new
handicap toilet room; removal of lead paint and the painting of doors,
windows, walls and steel. Specifications and 1/2 size drawings will be
furnished at a charge of $7.00 per set. Issue date for plans and
specifications is on/about 28 April 1995 with a bid opening date of 1
June 1995 at 11:00 a.m. Completion time for this project is 150
calendar days. All checks are to be drawn to ``FAO, USAED, Norfolk''.
Payment will not be returned andspecifications need not be returned.

project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Award of the contract will be made
as a whole to one bidder. Liquidated damages will be specified.
