23 -- ARMORED SECURITY VEHICLE PROGRAM SOL DAAE0795RR066 DUE 062695 POC For A Solicitation copy or for information on this procurement, call Denise Mika (810) 574-7250 This requirement is to provide A light armored, combat support vehicle neededs to provide minimum essential protection to selected Military police (MP) units in high Ly exposed threat environment. The primary vehicle requirement is for ballistic protection (wraparound and overhead), and ventilated face piece nuclear biological and chemical protection. This is required in addition to achieving comparable mobility, communcations and firepower capabilities of the current Mobile platform (M1025/26 high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV). One (1) contract will be awarded. In this phase I of the ASV program, the contractor will deliver four (4) prototypes for Government testing, test support, refurbishment and drawings. There will be an option for 2 turretless vehicles for the Air Force Mobile ordance disrupter systems (mods). The contractor that is awarded thee prototype contract with successful performance and a valid proposal for phase II production, may be awarded a multi year contract for a production of 95 total vehicles, System technical support, training, technical manuals, initial spare/repair parts with a 100 percent option for each multiyear.
