Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Co., Inc., (REECo), prime management and operations contractor to the Nevada Operations Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, seeks to identify qualified sources for a 28 to 29 ton hydraulic rough terrain crane for use at the Yucca Mountain Site Characterization Project, Nevada Test Site, Mercury, Nevada. The unit must be a commercial production product equipped as a minimum with a standard three section powered boom; load moment indicator; anti-two block device; tachometer; electric engine block heater; diesel fired cab heater and defroster; fill load rated hook block with check plates; headache ball; manual pump disconnect; and, high speed glide. Qualified sources must also provide information explaining follow-on maintenance and support. We contemplate that this acquisition would be set-aside to small businesses who employ 750 employees or less.
