Kay, Contracting Officer Diesel Engine Generator/Rectifier Sets. Generator/Rectifier output must be capable of providing 325 KW Direct Current, and 15 KW auxiliary (hotel) 120-volt single phase A/C. System shall be capable of producing it's specified DC and AC auxiliary output continuously and simultaneously and each (AC/DC) shall be capable of sustaining intermittent overloads of 19% for 120 minutes, and 50% for one (1) minute. The generators shall be self exciting, brushless and shall conform to NEMA MG-1. Maximum voltage rating for the main generator shall be 480 VAC. Estimated quantity required is four (4), 2 sets in FY96 and 2 sets in FY97. Inspection, testing, and acceptance shall be performed at the contractor's facility, and witnessed by Government representative(s). Government will install the generators on the shipyard cranes. Delivery to be f.o.b. destination (Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Hawaii) within 120 days after order or modification.
