The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for a Continuous, In-Stack Single Particle Concentration Monitor. Research conducted by EPA requires measurement of particle size and number from a variety of combustion sources and control devices. Instrumentation to perform these measurements is required for accurate data presentation. This procurement will be processed as a total small business set-aside. SIC No. 3826 applies and the size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued approximately 4/28/95. Proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after the solicitation issuance date. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by submitting a written request. A limited number of copies are available. Only one copy shall be issued to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. Copies will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. Firms must identify their size status when requesting a copy of the solicitation. Firms who fail to do so shall be considered large businesses. A copy of the preliminary source list will be issued to all prospective offerors along with the solicitation.
