Capable sources are sought to perform a study to analyze, develop software and demonstrate a concept for managing, distributing and storing large amounts of digital data on mass storage systems. Offerors must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of local area networks, distributed storage and data servers. Offerors must show an understanding of digital imagery, target materials and digital mapping. Offerors must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of data management for source materials, database access and final products. The contractor must have personnel cleared at the SCI level. Respondees must specifically state that the respondee maintains a current, active facility security clearance at the Top Secret level. A Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee completion type contract is contemplated. Potential offerors are advised that a conventional solicitation will not be issued. the solicitation will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily. Concurrent with publication of the solicitation, a supplemental package will be mailed to all respondees. Provide address information to ATTENTION: Lt.
