The requirement for Global Positioning System Flight Experiment and Test Support has been cancelled and no solicitation will be issued for this effort. --Performance will be on-site at the Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. --2 years with options for 3 additional years --The Government intends to award this contract to a Small Disadvantaged Business through the Small Business Administration 8(a) program. Therefore, the Government is searching for an 8(a) contractor with experience in NASA Space Shuttle or equivalent flight experiment process, a thorough understanding and working knowledge of environmental and operating constraints associated with space electronic hardware design, GPS test experience with defining and configuring tests, and developing test procedures, and extenseive knowledge of GPS user equipment and operation.
