The U.S. Army Missile Command, MLRS Acquisition Team, has a requirement for a technology demonstration development program for a light weight launcher that meets Rapid Force Projection Initiative (RFPI) objectives, which is C-130 transportable, to include fabrication/integration of four prototypes and fielding of these prototypes in support of the RFPI Advance Concept Technical Demonstration.
