Telephone request will not be acknowledged. The United States
Department of Agriculture's Forest Service intends to fabricate and
install exhibit components, reception desk, sales area, and a new
lighting system for a Visitor Information/Nature Center located in
Richwood, West Virginia. The gross exhibit/lobby area is 1700 square
feet in size. Scope of work includes fabrication and installation of
the following: rock formation, wall hung panels, floor treatment, wood
pedestals, stylized full-size forest diorama, banners, photo
processing, silkscreening, painting of room walls. A new suspended
track lighting and special effects audio system is also specified.
Audio-visual software is not included. Exhibit fabrication to be of
museum quality. The fabrication and installation schedule will allow
4.5 months in total from contract award to completion of installation.
A fee of $20.00 is required for a single copy of the drawing
specifications along with the solicitation package. Remittance should
accompany the potential bidders request for the solicitation package.
Make check, money order or draft payable to the U.S., Treasury, please
write the IFB Number on the remittals. The contract is subject to the
service contract act and place of performance is unknown. Wage
