RISHER/ FAX (915)654-3255 The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment, necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings forming parts thereof for complete repair and replacement of all existing deteriorated bathtub surround walls, wall finishes and ceiling located in each toilet room. Provide complete replacement of existing bathtubs and associated trim and all leaky domestic cold and hot water piping located in existing pipe chase. Provide replacement of all existing toilet room ventilation systems with new packaged rooftop heat recovery units. Provide new electrical systems to support the operation of the new packaged rooftop heat recovery units. This procurement is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns in accordance with public law and federal regulations. Interested concerns should notify this office in writing, of their intention to bid this project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 15 days from this notice. Requests must include (1) A list of previous or on going, government/commercial contracts including contract number, contract title, dollar value, name of person to contact and a phone number; (2) A letter from the small business administration of certification as an SDB concern; (3) A letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project; and (4) Specific information which demonstrates the capability to perorm projects of this complexity and magnitude. If adequate interest in not received within the period specified above from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition, for both small and large businessess without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The SIC code is 1522. The size standard in $17.0 million. Bids from all responsible bidders will be considered. The period of performance for the proposed project is 365 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
