Singleton,2 15/656-6105 Furnish and perform all design/build, work related to the replacement of one (1) cholorofluorocarbon (CFC) Chiller with a new energy efficient non- CFC Chiller. Work includes determining the current cooling load requirement and designing and installing an appropriate sized non-CFC Chiller. The design and construction work performed by the design/build contractor shall include all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire safety, security, communication, and computer systems as identified or required to be installed or relocated so as to deliver a fully functional product. Options include: (1) Replacement of second chiller with new energy efficient chiller; (2) Replace/resize existing cooling tower; (3) Replace existing constant volume chilled water system distribution system. Prequalification: The contractor shall have had successfully completed a minimum of five (5) projects of comparable magnitude and complexity. The solicitation should be available on or about 4/28/95 with a closing date of 5/31/95. SIC Code 1711. The estimated cost of this proposed procurement is between one (1) and five (5) million dollars.
