Craig, GP26/Contracting Officer PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to perform modifications to the Metrology and Calibration Facility, Building 4650 as follows: Restoration and modernization of approximately 20,000 square feet of existing office and laboratory space in Building 4650 will be required by demolition of existing walls, floors, ceilings, electrical and mechanical equipment; installation of new partition walls, floors, wall finishes, ceilings, lighting, fire detection, fire suppression systems, electrical power, heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment; replacement of windows; installation of insulated brick veneer over existing concrete block exterior walls; replacement of existing siding on high-bay area with insulated metal siding; replacement of existing roof with standing seam metal roofing system; and miscellaneous site work -- Additionally, a 2,900-square-foot addition to accommodate a seismic isolated foundation will be constructed -- Worksite is the George C.
