36 -- ON-LINE MACHINE MONITORING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM IN SUPPORT OF THE CARDEROCK DIVISION, NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, MEMPHIS DETACHMENT, LARGE CAVITATION CHANNEL (LCC) SOL N00167-95-R-0072 DUE 053195 POC Lisa Holland or Lynn Rowe (Contracting Officer) (301) 227-1100. The contractor shall provide for an on-line machine monitoring and information system to be installed in the LCC which will be used to monitor the synchronous motor and the pump, which run the LCC. The system will consist of various transducers, associated machinery monitors, and a host computer with applicable hardware and software which, as an integrated system, will comprise the on-line machine monitoring and information system. This system will provide continuous monitoring as well as diagnostic information of critical machinery parameters. Option 1 is to incorporate Instrument Water Pump nos. 1 and 2 and High Pressure Pump 1 with vibration monitoring equipment interface to on-line machinery information system. Option 2 is to incorporate Instrument Main Generator Set and Frequency Changer nos. 1 and 2 with vibration monitoring equipment and interface to on-line machinery information system. The period of performance for completion and installation of the on-line machine monitoring and information system, including both options shall be 24 months. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. It is expected that a solicitation shall be issued on or about 25 April 1995, with the closing date thirty (30) days thereafter.
