The Operational Contracting Division, Commodities Branch intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of six (6) each Turbo Vacuum Pumps with accessories for the Rocket Exhaust Mass Spectrometer (REMS II) System. These pumps are to have a pumping speed greater than 250 liters/second for nitrogen at 0.005 Torr inlet pressure and 3 Torr foreline pressure, compression ratio greater than 10E8 for nitrogen with 3 Torr foreline pressure, weight less than 10 pounds, operating temperature +5 to +35 degrees celsius, ISO100 main vacuum flange, no limitations on mounting position and oil-less bearings. This instrument will be either ground based or mounted on an aircraft for field investigations during live fire testing of various rocket engines or jet engines during normal operations.
