STUART, Tel:713-483-4184 The NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center has a requirement to provide the Center with uniform/linen rental/laundry service. The items shall include, but are not limited to, Contractor-owned coveralls, lab coats, smocks, aprons, shirts, bath towels and Government-furnished napkins. This solicitation is for the specific performance period of May 15, 1995, through May 14, 1996. The Contractor shall make a minimum of one pickup and one delivery each week on a specific date arranged with the Johnson Space Center using organization; therefore, it is expected that firms outside the local area would have difficulty meeting the delivery schedule. Construction requirements and material content shall be specified by the Johnson Space Center on each particular article. The workmanship shall be from full-cut patterns and all seams under strain shall be reinforced and be of good workmanship throughout. Construction shall be durable with diagonal extra heavy bar tacks at stress points.
