Technical support is needed in the areas of insensitive munitions program, risk assessment and trend studies, development of military standards and handbooks, laser system safety report, and general system safety program support. Insensitive Munitions Advanced Development (IMAD) support shall include evaluation of explosive selections, recommendations of explosives for munitions, technical program support, and development of test requirements and evaluation of test results. Technical expertise is required in the development of standards and handbooks in weapon system safety, system safety, system safety engineering, explosive safety, and software systems safety. The Contract Technical Manager shall be able to attend meetings during normal working hours at either the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA or Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, VA within four (4) hours of a verbal request. The Contract Technical Manager shall also have at least a secret clearance and may require a NATO clearance. The contract shall have a five (5) year period of performance.
