This road will be used for hauling borrow material (clean soil) between the Borrow Area and the Construction Material Staging Area (CMSA). The work will include: site preparation consisting of clearing, grubbing, excavation, and stockpiling topsoil; installing new corrugated metal pipe culverts; grading and compaction of the roadway; seeding and mulching; and installation of guardrails and signs. Estimated range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and construction time is 240 calendar days. Bonds will be required. The project is set aside for small business concerns. Bid opening date is scheduled for May 13, 1995. Plans and specifications should be available on or about April 15, 1995, and will be distributed until the supply is exhausted.
