Maryland 21045-0701 Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION, REPLACEMENT,
ETC., UNDERGROUND/ABOVEGROUND TANK SYSTEM FOR THE PHILADELPHIA DISTRICT

Service, Facilities Service Office, Columbia, Maryland 21045-0701, will
issue Solicitation #232098-95-A-0142 on April 17, 1995 for various
underground storage tank projects in leased and USPS-owned facilities
in the Philadelphia District area indefinite quantity construction
contract. The work for this project shall include, but not be limited
to, all related work involving underground/above ground storage tank
removal as well as small boiler repair/replacements (labor and
materials) at various leased and U.S. Postal Service-owned facilities
located in the Philadelphia District Area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware,
Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties in the State of Pennsylvania).
The work to be performed under this contract is to be coordinated
through the work-order process. At the discretion of the Contracting
Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a
minimum of two (2) years experience as of the date of issue in
underground/above ground storage tank removal/replacement work.
Contractors must also possess the capabilities of working at least four
(4) jobs at the same time. Specific work order(s) will be issued by the
Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and
Specifications. Work Orders will be issued totaling not more than
$250,000.00 during the two (2) year period of the contract. The initial
limit of $250,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by
the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to a maximum of
$1,000,000.00. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of work
orders nor a specific amount offer. The contractor will not be required
to perform work under this work order where the value of work in any
one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit
one (1) ``Multiplier'' to be applied to the various Unit Prices
established in the Unit Price Schedule. The Multiplier must contain the
Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other
contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after Contract
Award. Offers are due by 5:00 P.M., Friday, May 19, 1995. The package
will be available by April 17, 1995 at a cost of $35.00 per package,
non-refundable. Make checks/money orders payable to: Disbursing
Officer, U.S. Postal Service, referencing RFP #232098-95-A-0142. Please
