The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision necessary to perform repairs to or install bituminous and concrete pavements. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation of sub-base, removal of concrete and bituminous materials, placing aggregate sub-base, patching utility excavations, sealing cracks, resurfacing with bituminous and concrete materials, adjusting existing appurtenances such as manholes, handholes, valve boxes, catch basins, trench and utility tunnel covers, repairing and or replacing concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, other miscellaneous concrete work, removal and installation of guard rails, repairs to traffic and railroad intersections and striping pavements and roadways. Work shall be performed on the exterior areas and interior of buildings and structures. The resultant contract will be an indefinite quantity type contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 1611. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted, open to large and small business concerns. IFB's will be issued on/about May 9, 1995. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum amount of work to be ordered is $150,000.00.
