material, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to replace
the Main Access Roadway and the Main Parking Lot behind Buildings 303,
304, and 305 at Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan. Work includes, but is
not limited to removal of approximately 56,000 SY of road pavement
(3-5'' of asphalt overlay over 10-15'' of PCC) and approximately 3,200
SY of 3-4'' asphalt pavement in the parking lot. The roadway shall be
replaced with 7'' asphalt pavement over 5'' of aggregate base on 10''
of sand subbase. The main parking lot shall be replaced with 4'' of
asphalt over 6'' aggregate on 8'' of sand subbase. Included is
necessary utility replacement, drainage structures, curbing, paved
shoulders, pavament marking etc. All work shall be in strict accordance
with the plans and technical provisions of the specifications for
Project VGLZ949697, ``Upgrade Access Roads and Main Parking Lot'',
Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan. The estimated magnitude of the
construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work will be
accomplished in two phases. Phase I work is the Main Parking Lot and
performance is 60 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Phase II work is the Main Access Roadway and performance is 120
calendar days after completion and acceptance of Phase I work. This is
