Z -- DEMOLITION AND CLOSURE OF UNSAFE STRUCTURES, FORMER NAVAL AMMUNITION DEPOT, ANNEX AND DOCK, HINGHAM, COHASSET, NORWELL, AND SCITUATE, MASSACHUSETTS SOL DACA33-95-B-0065 DUE 060695 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of the demolition and closure of over 90 structures by the following methods: backfilling the hazards; setting up barriers by excavation; and demolition of the structures. Work also includes access roads; approximately 21,000 LF of erosion control haybales; 50,000 SY of topsoil and seed; the demolition of the concrete dock (500' x 35'); restoration of the slope (900' x 60'); and incidental asbestos removal and abatement. This project will require over 100,000 CY of Contractor furnished fill material. The proposed contract listed here is a 100% Small Disadvantaged Business set-aside. Estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 210 calendar days.
