16 -- ENGINEERING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH NTS ''A'' WITH VTT POC Contact, Peggy Ayanian, Phone (703)604-1920 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) has a requirement for the engineering services associated with prototype installation of two Night Targeting Systems (NTS) ''A'' units with the Video Thermal Tracker (VTT) on AH-1W canopy modified aircraft (including but not limited to prototype drawings of wiring additions; structural, installation, control system and electrical analysis, and associated data) under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-94-G-0084. This requirement will be negotiated with Bell Helicopter Textron, Incorporated (BHTI), Fort Worth, TX 76101. BHTI is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AH-1W aircraft, and as such, has unique and peculiar knowledge of the AH-1W aircraft designs and the support associated therewith. BHTI is the only firm who can fulfill this requirement within the required timeframe. Deliveries of the required supplies and services shall be provided thru September 1995.
