Russial, (215)897-5508 This Command intends to acquire the following supplies from STUART MARINE CORP. for use at seasonal structured competitions, as well as extensive training programs and/or certifications specifically for the Rhodes-19 Sailboat: 9 ea. Rhodes-19 Sailboats (Keel); 2 ea. Booms; 2 ea. Masts; 10 ea. Spinnaker Pole 1-1/4''; 10 ea. Batten Sets; 2 ea. Tapered Spars; 4 ea. Jib Sheet Swivel Cam; 2 ea. Deck Mount Compasses; and 1 ea. Special Order Sheet Line Rope. Items shall be shipped to the Naval Education and Training Center's (NETC) Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Newport, Rhode Island. Required delivery is scheduled for 90 Days After Date of Contract. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Stuart Marine Corp. under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This firm is considered the only supplier of these supplies because they own the exclusive rights to the Rhodes-19 design. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government WILL NOT PAY for information received. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 5091. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia.
