70 -- SERVER, MODELING, HARDWARE SOL N00164-95-R-0138 DUE 060295 POC Contact - Terry Davis, 812-854-3704, telefax 812-854-3465 or Mr. Doug McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 1 each hardware modeling server, Synopsis Model LM-1400, Brand Name or Equal in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane salient characteristics. Maximum dimensions of the server shall be 20 inches wide x 30 inches high x 31 inches deep; maximum weight shall be 300 pounds. This server shall be high performance SPARC-based, and shall be compatible with other modeling methods, including, but not limited to VHDL models, behavioral models, and gate-level models. The unit shall be compatible with and capable of supporting ModelSource 3000 series modeling systems. The server shall provide universal modeling support for a minimum of logic, fault, and worst-case timing simulators. It shall have a minimum model capacity of 32 models, and the unit shall have timing measurement support. The chassis shall have a maximum of 68 dBA ambient noise, and thermal output for the chassis must have a maximum of 4500 BTU's. A minimum of 4 pattern controllers is required, and the server shall have the capability to contain a minimum of 16 boards of fast pattern memory with a minimum depth of 4 million patterns per lane. The server shall have the capability to contain a minimum of 32-pin electronics modules for a total of 2,560 device pins. A minimum of two LM-family diagnostic adapters is required, and the server shall include LM-family ModelAccess interface software. Electrical parameters of 20 A circuit at 100/115 VAC or 10 A circuit at 200/240 VAC are required. Operating ambient temperatures shall be a minimum of 50 degrees F and a maximum of 100 degrees F; non- operating ambient temperatures shall be a minimum of -4 degrees F and a maximum of 167 degrees F. The operating humidity range shall be from 5 percent to 80 percent, and the non-operating humidity shall be from 5% to 95%. The server shall support a current library of fully functional VLSI models, and it shall be capable of evaluating hardware models to a maximum of 33 Mhz. Delivery shall be FOB destination within 45 days after contract award; inspection and acceptance shall be at origin. The 10% evaluation preference for small disadvantaged business concerns will apply. This requirement is exempt from the FIRMR in accordance with 201-1.002-2(3)(1).
