The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price support services contract to Performance Engineering Corporation to assist in the evaluation and conduct of a cost/technical trade off and impact analysis for a best value analysis as required in connection with the currently active, Treasury Communications System Acquisition. Period of performance shall not exceed nine months from date of contract award. No contract award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice since the synopsis of intent is not considered a solicitation document. Interested firms must submit information and data that is sufficient for the Government to make a capability determination against the required support as synopsized herein. No solicitation documents are available and oral requests for same will not be considered. Responses that are submitted in accordance with this synopsis and are received within 45 days of the date of this publication will be fully considered.
