C--To provide A/E Services for an Indefinie Quantity contract for
delivery of special reports and studies. Special reports and studies
may include but are not limited to design criteria, cost estimates,
modifications to existing structures and design of new construction
projects. The contract will be for a three year period, commencing on
the date of award. The firm selected shall have the capability to
provide architectural and a full range engineering expertise, including
civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines for a complete
facility design. The selection criteria is as follows (in descending
order of importance): 1) Professional qualifications necessary for
satisfactory performance of the work required. Professional engineers
and registered architects will be required to have a currently valid
license to practice in the State of Washington, however, services may
be required for work to be approved by building officials in the states
of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and
Trust Territories. 2) Specialized experience and technical competence
in the typical work required. 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in a
timely manner. 4) Past performance on contracts with Govenment agencies
and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and
compliance with performance schedules. 5) Location in the general area
of the procuring office, and knowledge of the above listed states
applicable regulations. 6) Specialized experience with Government or
institutional agencies, with special attention drawn to the CSI format.
Firms responding are also requested to clearly differentiate between
the personnel of the responding offices and branch offices. A/E firms
must submit a Standard form 254, Architect-Engineer and related
services questionnaire to the above address by May 16, 1995 at 4:00PM.
In addition to the required submission of a Standard Form 254 firms
may submit any other pertinent literature detailing its capabilities.
The procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The SEC code for A/E
services is 8712 and Size standard is $2.5 million. This is not a
