The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking competitive proposals to purchase a heavy Boeing 727-200 Series aircraft for its prisoner transportation movements. All aging aircraft inspections should be completed to date to Boeing's standards on the airframe. The engines on the aircraft should be, at minimum JT8D-15a, be at midlife and delivered with hush kits. This solicitation will be released subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
