each. The replacement system should provide a wheel design to
accommodate both a bias ply and a radial ply tire. The brake design
shall provide a minimum 750 landings before removal for repair or
replacement. The replacement wheel and brake shall fit within the
present envelope of the F-16 Block 40/42 wheel well fittings and lines
and will be form, fit and function compatible with existing
aircraft/landing gear. Respondents should be equipped to manufacture
wheel and brake assemblies and their component parts per Air Force
Specifications and MIL-W-5013H. Delivery: 50 per month beginning 9

appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during
the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection
