The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD proposes to procure on a firm-fixed price basis: two (2) weather radar interface units (part number 4001463-0802); one (1) weather radar receiver/transmitter (part number 4001804-0102); one (1) mounting tray (part number 3605069-0501); one (1) mounting tray connector (part number 4007550-0504); and one weather radar control (part number 4001508-0603). All components are manufactured by Allied Signal and reference Allied Signal part numbers. This suite of equipment will be used to stage an avionics repair test bench facility which must be identical to the avionics equipment utilized in Executive Helicopter Transport aircraft. As such, this acquisition will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Allied Signal, 2100 NW 62nd Street, Post Office Box 9327, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33310-9327, under the statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements).
