The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD provides notification of intent to place a firm-fixed-price order under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-92-G-0089 with Lockheed Corporation/Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company (LASC) for the installation of three (3) AFC-457 wiring harness kits on three P-3C Update III aircraft at NAS, Brunswick, ME. These installation services shall be in accordance with ECP-P3-970; the three AFC-457 kits will be furnished by the Government. This order will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Lockheed Corporation/LASC, 86 South Cobb Drive, Marietta, GA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. LASC is the only source possessing the engineering drawings and design/layout drawings necessary to perform this installation on the P-3C Update III aircraft. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0103)
