MEISNER, (202)260-9188 The Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate a contract with Large Scale Biology Corporation as the sole source provider of a Kepler Two-Dimensional Protein Gel Imaging and Analysis System, including hardware, software, installation, training and software maintenance support. The system must scan and analyze up to 1000, 2 dimensional gels; have the capability to scan gels with 50 um resolution (2048 x 2048 pixels; 4096 gray levels); and provide a montage of up to 100 scanned gel images at one time. No solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 45 calendar days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall provide detailed information on proposed products which clearly meet the requirements stated above. Any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFP will be ignored. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing.
