The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a competitive requirement for contractor services to review existing published data and information on NOx control and current emission levels from industrial process combustion sources, analyze the data and information to identify a single industrial combustion process where there is a need for control combined with a high potential for successful application of combustion modification. In addition, the contractor will locate a cooperative pilot plant site, design and install an appropriate control system and test the system primarily for NOx with CO and THC emissions effects from NOx controls as a secondary focus. A final report analyzing the test results will complete the study. A completion type contract is contemplated with a thirty-six month period of performance.
